Hy guys, we are progressing about 70nm off Reunion now, but the wind has backed to E/NE and we are now beating. So the bad news is that our SOG is around 5kts max and it seems it'll remain as such until our arrival in Port Louis (the wind could further back as well.)

It seems that we will reach Mauritius by tuesday night and because of custom opening hours we won't be entering Port Louis customs until Wednesday morning after which we still must progress for several hours to Grand Baie. So we are concerned that we'll have at a maximum 3 days only before returning to CT.

We would be keen to fly back on monday if possible.

In addition we have all been studying and doing sightings and feel close to ready for our exams and all agree that we may not need the entire time allocated for both revision and prep in terms of our time frame upon return. Karl also, for his part feels that we have improved significantly and is confident of our competance.
