Day 4 -  Spring cleaning

we had a very relaxed evening sailing close hauled into a light se 10 kt wind and other than spotting a ship and tracking it on the radar, uneventfull. This morning saw the wind steadily dropping off to just about zero

Day 3 - 35 knots of wind

Saturday saw us close inshore to the Natal north coast near the St Lucia estuary within half a mile from the beach with a light off shore breeze. A Darado braai was the order of the day which went down very well. We had downloaded the weather

Day 2 - Rain showers

Hi all

We had a pleasant evening sailing past Richards Bay and a few rain squalls at midnight gave us the opportunity to have rain water showers so some of the crew are sweet smelling and others not so. Supper was a fabulous fish curry

Hot Ice once more sets off for the next sailing adventure, this time to the exotic unspoilt destination of Madagascar. The vessel had set off from Cape Town 10 days ago and made stops at Hout Bay, Simionstown, Port Elizibeth and Durban. We left Durban yesterday at about Midday sailing into a light North easter

Hot Ice and the crew arrived in Durban. Stocking up and getting ready to clear out for their trip to Madagascar. Weather looks promising after the bad weather up the coast. Will keep you all posted on their journey.

Sorry didnt get in contact yesterday, the boys got what they wished for, 45knt buster, now they not wishing for it anymore :) they all sleeping and worn out. alls well heading for the coast should be able to call u tomorrow on the cellphone. nearly home yeah, cant wait. see u all soon.

Hello dear land this is the crusty ocean goers. All is well and getting weller, our position is 27 11` S 045 29` E. Can not wait to hit CT and have a beer with the buys. but life is a journey so lets live every moment now!
